Presentation

LEONAV Stage-1 is the precursor of a future constellation dedicated to the Emirati LEONAV programme, which aims at deploying a Low Earth Orbit, Positioning, Navigation and Timing (LEO PNT) service. Levergaing on its previous experience in LEO-PNT with PANDORE, U-Space develops a mission tailored to the needs of the NSSTC. This also is U-Space’s second internationnal contract and first contract for a customer outside of Europe.

In record time for design, production, and testing, U-Space teams took on the challenge of delivering a satellite integrating the payload in just 12 months—a remarkable achievement within the space industry that demonstrates U-Space’s commitment to the New Space approach, while leveraging expertise and quality that meet industry standards.

What’s going on ?

All progress monitoring indicators are green as we begin the Assembly, Integration, and Testing (AIT) phase, following U-Space’s defined processes. The finished, ready-to-launch satellite must be delivered by the end of March 2026.
